In September 2017, Friends of the San Francisco Estuary took 24 Bay and Delta elected officials and staff out on the Delta, for a one-day educational tour by bus and boat of the Delta's top ecological challenges. Experts in fish biology, ecology, policy, and water law provided overviews of the Delta's primary stressors and current planning processes to address them.
